Waza Speeding

Private driving reviews after the journey.

Waza Speeding is a passive retrospective driving review app from N.I.E.22 Limited. After account registration, explicit Waza consent, and iOS location permission, it detects car-like journeys, records them for later review, and runs speed-limit heat-map analysis only when the user asks from Trips.

Product Description

A low-distraction record now, review later workflow.

Waza Speeding is designed around passive trip capture rather than live dashboard use. The app should not encourage a driver to watch the screen. It records consented journeys in the background, then lets the user review a route afterwards from Trips.

The first processed trip review is free after registration. Recording detected journeys remains available after that free review is used, while additional retrospective heat-map analysis requires an active monthly or annual subscription. The initial launch footprint is planned around the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Core Features

Consent, private trip capture, and on-demand analysis.

01

Consent-First Setup

Recording begins only after the user accepts Waza consent choices and grants iOS location permission for car-journey detection and storage.

02

Automatic Journey Recording

GPS speed, heading, accuracy, and timestamps are used to detect car-like journeys and stop active recording when the journey ends.

03

Trips List

Recorded journeys appear privately in Trips so the user can decide which journey, if any, should be processed for a heat-map review.

04

On-Demand Heat Maps

Route traces are matched to road speed-limit information only when the user chooses to analyze a recorded trip.

05

On-Device Narration

Qwen prepares spoken-brief copy and post-trip summaries on device, while Kokoro renders speech locally. Hosted LLMs do not receive trip facts for narration.

06

Clear Retention

Free accounts keep local recordings for seven days. Paid accounts can archive eligible trips to backend storage until the thirty-day cap.

Privacy Position

Your driving data is not a social product.

Raw trip traces, coordinates, speed samples, heat-map results, and narration facts are private to the user. Waza Speeding does not publish driving routes, create public leaderboards, sell personal data, or use app data for advertising tracking.

  • Route samples may be sent to speed-limit or map-matching providers only for a user-requested trip review.
  • Trip traces and trip analysis facts are not sent to Hugging Face for narration.
  • On-device model files can be refreshed or removed from Settings.

Responsible Use

Retrospective review, not driving instruction.

Waza Speeding is not a navigation app, legal defence service, emergency service, police notice system, road-safety guarantee, or substitute for obeying road signs and applicable traffic laws.

Do not interact with the app while driving. Use the app after a journey to understand possible speed-limit events and driving patterns, subject to GPS quality and provider data limitations.
