Terms and Conditions for Waza Speeding
These Terms and Conditions are a legal agreement between you and N.I.E.22 LIMITED, company number 17246955, registered in England and Wales, D-U-N-S Number 234870472, registered office 17 Bailey Road, Banbury, England, OX16 1HW, for use of Waza Speeding. By creating an account, granting consent, recording trips, requesting analysis, using narration, buying paid features, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms. Contact us at info@nie22.com. These are additional service terms. Your licence to the iOS app is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.
1. Parties and Acceptance
These Terms govern your access to Waza Speeding, operated by N.I.E.22 LIMITED. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These Terms supplement Apple's Standard End User License Agreement and govern the account, consent, trip recording, processing, subscription, support, and related services provided by N.I.E.22 LIMITED.
2. Eligibility and Lawful Use
You must be legally able to enter a binding contract and lawfully use location-based mobile services in your location. Waza Speeding is not directed to children. You must not use the service if doing so is unlawful, unsafe, restricted by your employer or device owner, or incompatible with applicable road traffic, privacy, employment, insurance, fleet, or device-use rules.
3. The Service
Waza Speeding is a passive retrospective driving review app. After registration, explicit Waza consent, and iOS location permission, it detects car-like journeys from GPS signals, records them for later private review, and analyzes speed-limit heat maps only when the user requests analysis from Trips. Recording detected journeys remains available after the first free processed review is used, while additional retrospective heat-map processing requires an active subscription.
4. No Live Driving Reliance
Waza Speeding is not a live speedometer, navigation system, speed-camera detector, police notice system, emergency service, road-safety guarantee, legal defence service, insurance telematics service, professional driving assessment, or substitute for road signs, vehicle instruments, legal obligations, or personal judgement. Do not interact with the app while driving. You are responsible for lawful, safe driving at all times.
5. Accounts, Consent, and Permissions
You are responsible for your account, device, app permissions, and activity under your credentials. Waza records trips only after required consent and iOS location permission. You may withdraw consent or change permissions in Settings or through device controls, but doing so may prevent recording, syncing, review processing, notifications, or narration features from working. You must not try to bypass consent, permissions, retention limits, subscription checks, security controls, or provider restrictions.
6. Journey Detection and Recording
Automatic detection uses signals such as GPS speed, heading, accuracy, timestamps, movement state, and parking evidence. Detection may start late, stop early, miss a journey, split a journey, merge nearby movement, or record imprecise samples because of GPS quality, tunnels, buildings, device settings, battery state, operating-system behaviour, network conditions, or service faults. You remain responsible for checking whether a trip record is useful before relying on it.
7. On-Demand Heat-Map Analysis
Speed-limit heat maps and potential-speeding indicators are retrospective estimates based on GPS samples, provider data, map matching, speed-limit sources, confidence values, and classification logic. They may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, unavailable, or mismatched to the road you actually used. They are not legal advice, court evidence, proof of innocence or liability, a guarantee that you complied with traffic law, or a guarantee that you exceeded a speed limit.
8. Private Driving Data
Waza Speeding is designed so driving data remains private to the user. The service does not publish your route history, raw coordinates, speed samples, heat maps, or generated summaries to other users. You should still avoid exporting, forwarding, or sharing trip data where doing so would expose sensitive location patterns, breach another person's privacy, or violate law, employment rules, insurance rules, or fleet policies.
9. On-Device AI Narration
The service may use downloadable public model files and on-device processing for spoken briefings and retrospective summaries. Qwen prepares text locally from reduced trip facts, and Kokoro renders spoken audio locally. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, repetitive, unsuitable, or unavailable. Narration is for private review tone only and is not legal, safety, insurance, medical, financial, or driving advice. Model downloads may use storage, bandwidth, battery, and processing resources.
10. Purchases and Subscriptions
Paid features on iOS, if offered, must be purchased through Apple's in-app purchase system. The first processed trip review is free after registration. Additional retrospective heat-map analysis requires an active monthly or annual subscription, unless a purchase screen states otherwise. Prices, duration, renewal frequency, cancellation instructions, and included features are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled through your Apple account settings before the renewal date. Refunds are handled under Apple policies except where applicable law gives you additional rights.
11. Data Retention and Deletion
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, protect, and retain personal data. You may delete individual trips, account data, or location data where app controls make this available. Free accounts keep local recordings for seven days. Paid accounts keep recordings locally for seven days and may archive eligible recordings to backend storage until the thirty-day cap. Some account, consent, purchase entitlement, support, security, dispute, legal, and compliance records may be retained where required or permitted by law.
12. Third-Party Services
Waza Speeding may depend on Apple services, iOS permissions, App Store purchases, Microsoft Azure hosting, speed-limit and map-matching providers, Hugging Face model distribution for public model files, diagnostics, support tools, and operational vendors. Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for third-party outages, provider data errors, device restrictions, operating-system changes, app-store decisions, or network failures.
13. Prohibited Conduct
You must not misuse Waza Speeding, interfere with the service, reverse engineer protected parts of the app, scrape APIs, bypass subscription checks, extract provider keys, upload malicious content, overload systems, falsify trip data, use the service for surveillance without lawful authority, use the app while driving in an unsafe or unlawful way, or use trip records to harass, threaten, control, discriminate against, or expose another person.
14. Availability and Changes
The service may change, pause, remove, or add features over time, including journey detection, storage, retention, route processing, providers, narration, subscriptions, pricing, and support routes. We may suspend or restrict access for maintenance, security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, app-store requirements, or provider changes. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
15. Disclaimers and Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Waza Speeding is provided as is and as available. We do not guarantee that the app will detect every journey, record every sample, identify every speed limit, classify every route correctly, prevent speeding, prevent accidents, prove legal compliance, reduce insurance costs, or produce accurate AI summaries. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived.
16. Termination
You may stop using Waza Speeding at any time and may delete your account or location data where controls are available. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if you breach these Terms, misuse the service, create safety, security, legal, or operational risk, or if the service is discontinued. Termination does not affect rights and obligations that should reasonably survive, including payment, deletion, retention, disclaimers, liability limits, and legal compliance provisions.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your location require otherwise. If you are a consumer, you may have rights to bring claims in your local courts where applicable law gives you that right.
